About The Band

Croy Silver Band has a proud history of providing live entertainment in the village of Croy and the surrounding area.
Our History
As one of the few remaining brass bands in North Lanarkshire, we aim to promote brass music by encouraging and developing local musicians and providing music within the local community.  We welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds, from beginner to professional musician.  The band also takes part in local and national brass band contests and has represented Scotland in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain on a number of occasions - we are currently in the Third Section.
The band normally rehearses on Monday and Thursday evenings, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in Croy, under the musical leadership of our conductor, Kenneth Blackwood.
